* Led the Automations team. Held weekly staff meetings, interviewed potential candidates, made staff recommendations and managed task assignments.

* Authority on the design of all IT managed solutions.

* Developed multiple Linux utilities in Perl including software that added users to LDAP, and parsed LUN metadata into human readable format.

* Volunteered to develop a solution to deploy software to large groups of Windows servers using VBScript and batch files, as well as a Linux agent deployment solution saving the Operational Excellence team potentially hundreds of hours by eliminating the need for the manual labor of installing software on 1,000 servers.

* Multi platform system and network design engineer, architect, and administrator for Biometrics Engineering Lab managing Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and Windows 2003 operating systems, storage area networks, and multiple Ethernet networks. As a technical leader, provided direction to development staff and systems administration team. As an architect, provided vision, insight, and design recommendations into all programs.

* Senior member providing direction into the design, implementation, and management of the Registered Traveler (Clear) program resulting in a performance excellence award for high availability infrastructure design. Clear became a national success and is monitored by Congress and the office of the President of the United States of America.

* Designed and implemented the Lockheed Martin BioUnique infrastructure solution supporting Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD12).

* Responsible for architectural design, capacity planning, and maintenance of Windows, HP-UX, and Linux servers in clustered and non clustered environments.

* Directly responsible for review, approval, and deployment of all Unix and Linux scripts.

* Maintained over 50 active server pages (ASP) web applications, providing timely response to outages, as well as troubleshooting assistance and migration of applications from stage to production.

* Created health monitor scripts which alert primary pager to a problem before it becomes a critical outage visible to a customer.

* Eliminated the need for carrying a second pager when on-call. Developed software which assigned and tracked the active on-call staff member using scripts. Saved the company monthly service fees and eliminated confusion and miscommunication of who was on duty.

* Conceived the idea for and developed UNIX permissions backup and restore software that saved considerable man-hours when restoring granular permissions to multiple locations after application upgrades.
