1995 Shaw University Raleigh, North Carolina
Bachelor of Arts Criminal Justice / Pre-Law conc.

The primary purpose of this Department was to provide me with a liberal arts education that enabled me to initiate career employment or to pursue a higher education in graduate or professional schools. I was able to attain fundamental knowledge of the basic concepts, principles, theories, research methods, and skills required for critical thinking and problem solving. I also gained lifelong knowledge on how to develop awareness about the value of life and commitment to human principles.

My Pre-Law concentration program consisted of courses selected from several departments across the university. These courses were chosen to help prepare me for the challenges of law school and the practice of law. Technically students who successfully completed this concentration should be better prepared to compete for entry into law school and ultimately, the rigors of law school and law practice as they will have been exposed to a diverse and demanding undergraduate liberal arts curriculum.
