Developed strategies and systems to support analytic efforts in a number of environments. Worked with collection analysts to develop systems to examine statistical completion of collection efforts. Examined development of a palm-pilot based application that allowed users to input Arabic text and transmit through satellite link in order to determine ability to pass Government acceptance testing. Synectics, Inc. Test Analyst/Installation Engineer, 1993-1995 Examined Aries Lifecycle Extension (ALE), an add-on to collection systems that provided historical textual interpretation of points of interest, searched by multiple methods (BE or lat/long) for efficiency and efficacy. Interfaced with worldwide installations in the Intelligence Community and provided deployment and installation services to these sites. Impact: Improved usefulness of deployed systems to distributed user community.
TRW, Inc. Communications Analyst, 1991-1993. Provided support to Intelligence Communications Architecture (INCA) Group. Developed and maintained capability to provide analytic modeling for various proposed combined force structures, resulting from lessons learned in Desert Storm. Examined, analyzed and proposed appropriate communications (and related) equipment to be included in intelligence database. Impact: Improved force structure capabilities to Unified and Specified Commands, resulting in more useful deployed communications capability.
MITRE Corporation, Database Analyst, 1984-1987. Analyzed and researched candidate information for inclusion in the Army WWMCCS Information System (AWIS) that might or might not be within the scope of this information system, but which had been included in the previous version of this large, worldwide command and control system. Provided written analysis and briefings to management. Impact: More effective and purposed design for new command and control system.
