SBC (Southern BillingCommunications) is one of the world's leading data, voice and internet service providers. The services and products offered by AT&T include local exchange services, wireless communications, long-distance services, data/broadband and Internet services etc. The Unit Pricing(UP) and Usage Supervision(US) are the two main applications. Unit Pricing basic function is to collect the usages, validate them and apply the rates.These are further send to other billing applications such as Message Processing.Usage Supervision contains all customer account information and product information from various areas of billing system. US Master file is a set of VSAM files. Usages are rated based on the account information in US Master file and routed to other applications like TP/DE applications. Sends account information to TRIMS for monitoring the accounts. In general new connections will be monitored for first 6 months. The information of the monitored accounts are sent to US Master file to TRIMS.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding the Overall functionality and Business requirementsfor Unit Pricing and Usage Supervision applications
* Created High Level Infrastructural Design documents (HLID), Application Design and UTP's for UP and US applications.
