Project Abstract The Strategic Exposure & Limits Management (SELM) is a part of such an initiative. The objective of the SELM project is to develop an integrated, robust, and flexible Credit Exposure and Limits Management system to support various credit products such as loans, LCs, securities, FX, derivatives and other trading-related products to replace Global Net, Genesis and other fragmented, non-integrated credit systems. Ultimately, the goal is to enable a more efficient and proactive management of credit exposure.


Roles and responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities included delivering the Offshore Technical Test Plan and Test Results reports to the Client and the Onsite Team. Create Test Cases for each Release. Execute testing as schedule. Log, monitor and report software defects. Validate fixes to all defects found during QA testing. Validate fixes to Critical and Major Status defects found during UAT testing. Execute Regression Test Suite.Reviewed test cases to ensure coverage and conformance to business requirements.

Contribution:
• Created some good knowledge transition document which helped the new resources joining in the team. This was appreciated and used by the client.


2. JP Morgan Chase-Reference Data Repository

Project Abstract: The RDR table maintenance project is web based GUI interface applications used for the maintenance functionality for tables that exist within the Credit Risk Infrastructure Reference Data Repository.

Responsible for preparing test strategy and test plans, requirement analysis, UI testing, system testing, regression testing, Database testing and ensuring that Quality Assurance is maintained across the project. Design and develop RTM & Test Cases for as per the business requirements for the respective modules. Reviewed test cases to ensure coverage and conformance to business requirements.

Contribution:
• Created some good knowledge transition document which helped the new resources joining in the team. This was appreciated and used by the client.





3.JP Morgan Chase- Strategic Risk Grading Tool

Technologies: Oracle 9i, System Integration Testing Database: Oracle 9i Team Size: 1 Duration: 5 M
Role: Tester Period: Jun 08 to Mar 09


Project Abstract: The prime objective of SRGT is to replace Risk Grade Calculator (RGC) with a strategic solution Strategic Risk Grading Tool (SRGT) which will facilitate derivation and documentation of Risk rating calculated based on methodology. It does calculation using third party undertakings and country risk impacts. Risk grades for clients and facilities are based on a numeric scales 1- 10 including positive and negative grades.

Project Abstract: The system will be required to source; unlinked exposures, ungraded clients and unmanaged clients, enrich, update and create Work list Items. The system should allow users to configure various business rules to eliminate or suppress certain types of data from consumption. The system should have the ability to age Work list items appropriately and lend itself to metrics reporting based on an ad hoc universe
