Professional Work Experience:
Avigilon Inc., Vancouver BC
Digital designer: Designed and Implemented firmware used in high resolution (16MP,11MP, 4MP and 2MP) security cameras. Applied reverse engineering techniques to interface with black-box logic modules.

Teradici Corp., Vancouver BC
Associate Digital IC Design/Verification engineer: Hardware prototyping and testing using Verilog HDL coding on a multiple FPGA development platform. Worked with a small team on the implementation and testing of various hardware designs and schematics.

Hardware / Logic Design:
Proficient with programming in Verilog 2000 or VHDL. Familiar with Synplify Pro, Xilinx ISE and Xemacs. Simulation with Modelsim and vsim. Experienced at interfacing with Core IP logic modules and managing high bandwidth data streams. Embedded programming using eCos OS. Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), and System design.

Electrical:
Microcontroller/FPGA programming. Circuit analysis & assembly. PCB design and construction. Experience with ammeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes and power supplies. Power supply, audio amplifier and mechanical system controller design and construction.
