Duties and Responsibilities: Served as Chief of Operations, Information Technology Specialist, in a Top Secret SCI Major Communications facility in support of DOD (Army, Navy, and Air Force), NATO, U.S. embassies, consulates, and the intelligence communities. I was responsible for providing technical guidance and overall staff supervision of a work force of 26 Government Service employees (GS-09 - GS-12), and assisted 12 contracting personnel., who provide around the clock operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the operation of the LEGACY (formerly AUTODIN) and Defense Messaging System (DMS) mail messaging systems within the Pirmasens DMS Transition HUB (DTH).

Duties and Responsibilities: I Served as the Chief of the Operations Division of the Pirmasens, Germany Automatic Digital Network (AUTODIN) Automatic Switching Center (ASC), responsible for Providing technical guidance and overall supervision of 26 Government Service (GS) employees to enforce DISA Europe policies and directives Governing AUTODIN operations to insure that speed of service and rapid secure communications to over 100 AUTODIN subscribers, DOD agencies and NATO were met. The AUTODIN main processing computers are the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) VAX 4000 and the VAX 11 series (mini) computers.

I participated in the overall planning, directing and coordinating of the AUTODIN center activities and provided full technical support and guidance to six divisions that comprises the AUTODIN facility.
