PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE U.S. GOVERNMENT -- DC 1976-Present System Engineer, 1999-Present • Oversight for planning, developing and managing the infrastructure and Operations and Sustainment (O&S) program including system engineering, team management, risk assessment, and risk containment to ensure vital ongoing operations. • Foster key relationships with executive personnel, supervisors and staff to develop policies concerning Enterprise (E) initiatives. • Diagnose, assess and analyze system outages, readiness and change requests, and prepare and brief E O&S management on status of each of these issues in Readiness meetings. • Consistently address issues of technical risks, outages, resource allocation, change specifications and other issues in relationship to the mission, available resources, security, risk, and impact to production. • Produce and maintain the O&S Master Schedule. • Direct and guide the E RSR Team responsible for O&S implementation within ISO 9000 certification parameters including chairing intersite weekly teleconferences, coordinating databases, and generating agendas, reports, briefings and documentation. • Responsible for technical reports, SOWs, user documents, technical support and analysis for the NGA Product Support Management Plan team, as well as integrating concepts, alternatives and strategies, and sustaining optimum NGA system operations.
