A Master Degree's at Depaul University has equipped me with a moderate level of experience in Java and DB applications, especially in Oracle. I had a project related to a rental car application that had several customer interfaces (GUI). This project taught me how to use UML diagrams and communicate with my project members. Also, it showed me how to access a rental car database and to create server and client aspects. It took 10 weeks of work, with several lines of coding in Java.
I took several courses related to the Database field. The following are examples: Database Programming and Database Administration Management. The main emphasis in these classes was Oracle. I learned about SQL and query syntax. Additionally, I have experience with Microsoft Access Database.

Chemical Engineer and Quality Control Engineer:
I was hired as an employee with dual responsibilities. My day-to-day duties as a Quality Control Engineer included but were not limited to: planning and directing activities concerned with development, maintaining quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products, developing methods for inspection, testing of raw materials and other incoming materials for the factory, devising sampling procedures, developing forms for instruction for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliable data, establishing programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities, implementing methods for disposition of discrepant material, directing workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability, and compiling training material and conducting training sessions on quality control activities.
My day-to-day duties as a Chemical Engineer included but were not limited to: managing of the chemical lab and the chemical plant equipment, supervising the process of electro plating which included: preparation and continuous testing of solutions to insure proper function.
