EXPERIENCE Outage Mechanic - 2007 - Present PEM/Duke Energy, SC/NC HVAC Mechanic: -Troubleshot, maintained, serviced, repaired, and installed ventilation systems, chillers, heaters, air handler units, damper motors, compressor motors, fan motors, and I/E controls. Turbine Mechanic: -Deconstructed, Reconstructed, Serviced, and repaired High-Pressure and Low-Pressure Turbines, Steam generators, pumps and other rotating equipment. -Used precision instruments for accurate measurement in the alignment of Rotors, Diaphragms, Laggings, and Turbine Bearings to achieve nominal success in converting mechanical (steam) energy into electrical energy. Bus/Breakers/Transformers Technician: -Serviced and repaired high-voltage bus and breakers systems from the generator to the switchyard, to ensure proper distribution of electricity to linked sub-stations. -Operated boom-trucks, bucket-trucks, cranes and miscellaneous hydraulic mechanisms. --Serviced and repaired high-voltage transformers, and switch-gears, linked to the bus and breaker systems, in the switchyard of the nuclear power plant.
