BACKGROUND SUMMARY
Thirty years of continuing experience in the areas of Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Management and Quality Management in the automotive supplier industry. Extensive customer experience, working with engineering and manufacturing on Advanced Product Quality Planning. Organized and developed "turn-key" manufacturing programs, for both Domestic and European / Asian OEM's. Trained as a Lead Assessor for ISO-9000 and TS-16949. Extensive experiences in managing a multi-national supply base. Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ #20851). Key participant in improvement programs utilizing "Six Sigma" methodology. Supervisory experience includes single and multi-plant management as well as Director at corporate level.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
PREH, Inc. 2007-Present. High end global automotive and agricultural electronics manufacturer of sensors and controls for HVAC, Infotainment Systems, GPS systems and vehicle cabin occupant comfort systems.
Quality Engineering * Served as technical quality liaison between Project Management Team in Germany and new products turn-key launches in NAFTA market at new Mexican manufacturing facility. * Primary contact for new product quality launches for Ford Motor Company completely-redesigned F-150 pickup and several other vehicle line introductions, including APQP and Ford Q1 implementation support for the Mexico operations. * Primary quality contact for John Deere North American operations, including extensive electronics warranty analysis, electronics lab. * Wrote and maintained ISO TS-16949 compliant documentation for the plant operations and Michigan offices.

Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, World Headquarters Commodities Management 1993-1994 * Key member of Commodity Management team responsible for supply base optimization in purchases of iron and aluminum castings, forgings, screw machining and powdered metals. * Reduced total number of screw machine suppliers from 72 to 10, improved PPM performance from 4,000 to 70, and obtained cost savings of approximately $500 K. * Helped to prepare quotation packages for too re-sourcing due to cost and quality issues; initiated and followed tool transfers and assisted individual business units and the suppliers in re-submission.
