Telecommunications Systems - Voice Networks. Including: Cisco Call
Manager/Unity VM Systems, Large Networked PBX Systems, Networked ACD
Systems, CTI, IVR, and Various Voice Mail Systems including: VMX,
Octel, and Active Voice.

Work Experience

Sr. Cisco VoIP Engineer
10/2006 to present
O'Melveny and Meyers, Los Angeles California

Support and maintain 12 Cisco Avvid Call Manager Clusters, Unity Voice Mail systems. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support. Perform Server and Call Manager Upgrades,

Created project plans for Unity roll out Domestic US.
Currently implementing Unity for Domestic US offices.

Conducted Cisco Avvid Call Manager upgrades for 12 Clusters worldwide.

Perform any major feature changes as required by staff.

Assist management in resolving any telecom issues as well as recommendations for current and future voice needs.


Cisco VoIP Administrator
9/2005 - 10/2006 Ticketmaster, West Hollywood, California

Designed, Implemented and programmed new Cisco Avvid: Call Manager and Unity Servers for the new VoIP Call Manager system for Ticketmaster Admin offices worldwide. Designed database, programmed all local and remote sites, porting sites over from older version Call Manager servers to the new System. System is designed to support more than 5,000 Ticketmaster users worldwide on one clustered network.


Design and Implement Cisco VoIP Offices. Manage the Cisco Avvid VoIP network, including Unity Voice Mail, Unified Messaging, IPCC Express for nationwide system.

Work with remote offices to implement their new VoIP phones, Unity Voice Mail, Voice Gateways - worked with Local Telco's to bring up PRI's and POT's lines to each site.

Created cut sheets, Call Flows etc. Programmed Call Manager, Unity, and worked with Enterprise systems to configure routers. Programmed all Voice Gateways within Call Manager (MGCP's). Including set up of all Media Resources. (DSP's transcoding, conf bridges etc)

Installed PRI's, worked with Telco's to cutover. Manage the day to day service of the Cisco VoIP Clustered network. Install new Phones, do adds, moves and changes as requested.

No vendors involved except for TAC cases when needed or for purchasing equipment. Currently working on Cisco Call Manager and Unity hardware and software Upgrade. Currently consolidating all phones nationwide to one Call Manager and regionally located Unity voice mail systems.

Design of Cisco Avvid : Call Managers that will eventually support over 2500 Nationwide.
Phase 1 Roll Out: Project Lead, worked with each office to design Cisco Call
manager, Unity VM, and IPCC Express (ACD) to meet their needs. Created CUT
Sheets, and supporting documents for installations including Cabling Plan,
Numbering Plan, and Key appearances on each phone, ACD Call Flow and General
Flow Charts, and Testing Documentation. Programmed Call Manager and Unity,
traveled to each new installation site with lead IBM technician and assisted in
complete installation.* Oversee, manage and conduct the day to day service and
MAC work for the company's PBX Systems nationwide, (total of 42, VMX100,200 and
300's- All Networked), ACD Call Centers and Taske ACD Historical Reporting
packages. Worked with Vendors to support companies 50+ Toshiba Key systems.*
Document Systems and developed Voice Communication Standards to use company
wide.* Work on System Upgrades and maintenance agreements, preparing BID specs
and assist in Vendor selection. * Support over 2500 users nationwide.* Perform
design, analysis, database collection, and creating of system programming, as
well as project management in support of customer voice and data networks.
