Developer and Accountant - Specialty is to design accounting applications for the reinsurance/insurance industry. I have a strong background in the development of applications and schedules for the NAIC statutory annual statement or "yellow book".

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Assistant Secretary - 11/87 - Present
* Developed and maintained an accrual system for RRP's-Retrospective Rated Premiums, CC's-Contingent Commissions and SS's-Sliding Scale Commissions.
* Developed system to reformat main system data to Schedule P - Loss Development Analysis, Schedule F Assumed & Ceded - Premium and Loss results by Ceding Company, Treasury Schedule F and the Insurance Expense Exhibit. All systems remapped main system data to both WING's and the FREEDOM annual statement packages.
* Developed and maintained the Currency Table Update. This system automatically imported the new daily currencies and updated the currency table from an outside vendor.
* Wrote countless reports for all departments within the organization namely Claims, Accounting, Actuarial and Underwriting. Developed many senior management reports to track claim payouts and reserve changes. Also, developed reports to track claim counts so management could track staff work responsibilities. Developed report generator so each department could generate their own reports without IT intervention. Many reports were written to satisfy Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for the internal Auditing department.
Developed many actuarial downloads for their development of the IBNR.
* Application administrator for RSG system and Infopages/CRM-Contact Relationship Management System. On CRM replacement team. Demonstrated and updated contacts for other CRM systems including SugarCRM, SalesForce and SalesNow. Responsible for the users entered and removed from these systems which followed strict QA guidelines.
* Developed system to update client/ceding company file with electronic data received from
BEST and the NAIC.
* Wrote RSG sub-system to assign a processing status code to client/ceding company and to prevent payment to companies for items in dispute or for liquidated or commuted companies.
* RSG lead person for all monthly, quarterly and annual system closings. Responsible for balancing each close to the figures that were expected by the treaty and facultative accounting departments.
* Developed a Catastrophe tracking system to automatically monitor CAT results.
* Assisted in many data conversions from acquired company legacy system to our main reinsurance system.
* Assisted in the developed and maintained Crystal reports for the Accounts Payable department. Maintained the balance sheet and income statement within the General Ledger system for the SunGard EAS-Enterprise Accounting System. Also wrote Crystal reports for work order repository system TRACK-IT.
* Assisted in writing WEBFOCUS reports an Information Builders BI reporting tool.
