Manage all Software Delivery phases for servicing flood insurance. Supervise a staff of 37 and manage an internal maintenance and enhancement technology budget. The FloodConnect application is a commercial policy, claims, and agency administration system for servicing flood insurance. The system is used by 9 insurance companies, including the Federal Government, to write flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). FloodConnect application is a web application with some client-server components and uses Microsoft .NET technology and an Oracle 10g database. The FloodConnect Web application operates under the Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model.
• Lead a team in the maintenance and enhancement of the FloodConnect Application

Process involves gathering high-level business requirements, business impact information, and project estimates and assessing whether projects should proceed based on product strategy and architecture.
o Led effort to utilize the Lombardi Business Process Management software product for business process documentation and reengineering initiative.
• Software Development responsibilities include typical SDLC process of Technical Design generation, code modifications / creation, and unit test generation / execution / review

• Led a team in the analysis and development of a Billing Support System (BSS) information technology architecture and strategic plan aligned with the corporate transformation strategy and future operating goals.
