Programmer/Analyst, Marlin Leasing, October 2001 -- May 2009
Web Focus Programmer with experience using the Managed Reporting Environment (MRE), Online Application Processing (OLAP), Report Caster, Drill Down Reporting, and developing HTML pages for use with Web Focus reports. I've also received training with Dev Studio, IBI dashboard technology, and IBI Active Reports technology. My responsibilities included:
Sept 2007 -- May 2009: Lead developer for Sales/Marketing intranet site.
- Active in every facet of this project, from client consultation to design, development, testing,
& maintenance of a reporting site that gave sales/marketing managers access to on demand
reporting.
- Establishing this reporting site reduced the sales/marketing reporting demands by 90%. This
project was so successful that the accounting department was interested in having me develop
a reporting site to track documentation and rent charges
Nov 2006 -- May 2009: Lead programmer for the Sales/Marketing departments
- Primary business contact/analyst for all reporting requests. This required a deep
understanding of the goals and procedures used by this branch of Marlin Leasing.
- Organizing & maintaining Sales/Marketing report library. This involved creating an
identification system & directory structure that would enable any programmer to find the
source code for any report for this department quickly and easily.
Oct 2001 -- Oct 2006: Programmer
- Development and maintenance of the recovery department's OLAP reporting system.
- Develop, implement & maintain nightly creation of Focus files from Marlin Leasing's Infolease database for the Recovery, Repossession and Remarketing departments.
- Maintained the Captain's Chair website. This was a site written in JAVA SCRIPT where potential clients could get leasing rate quotes & create leasing contracts online.
