I am writing to express my desire to be considered for employment. As I have a diverse background, I am confident that I can fill many different types of roles involving the technical industry.

Officially I am trained in Electronics Engineering Technology, specializing in computers. I have 23 years experience in PC hardware, and in operating systems including Microsoft platforms as well as Linux systems. I have decades of field-work in networking from the smallest of routers to the most expansive community networks and security systems. In the last four years I have specialized in wireless networks and all the securities and fallibilities associated with that. I have an extensive portfolio for PC diagnostic, including hardware diagnostics as well as eradication of viruses and spyware, data recovery, password recovery, system security, and system optimization.

In the many diverse activities I have been engaged in over my professional career, there is one aspect about me and my work ethic that is common on all of them, and that is my hunger for knowledge and eagerness for challenge. The aspect I am most proud of is my ability to learn and adapt to the ever changing field of technology.

For instance, the need arose to produce CAD documents for the purposes of prototyping, so I picked up a few CAD manuals and went to work. Within a month I was creating industry standard mechanical/assembly drawings and teaching classes on CAD to the rest of the department. Another need arose to produce cost and time effective automation for thermal/mechanical experiments, so I picked up some books on programming with LabVIEW. After a few weeks, I had a lab full of automated equipment running autonomously and collecting data 24 hrs a day. Once, we had issues with millions of dollars of test equipment that we theorized was motherboard-related. As the equipment was a prototype from a defunct company, I spent days researching technical drawings and schematics, and within a short time, had redesigned the motherboard and contracted with a new vendor to produce them, thus enabling the expensive but once inoperable equipment. I feel the learning never stops.

What this means is that I am about as flexible and as capable of adaptation - of learning and creating new concepts to fit the company need - as can be desired.
