Maintenance Technician II / Provisioning Technician II (2001-2009) Maintained Verizon's telecommunications network to ensure the continuous delivery of services to domestic and international clients. Assisted the Central Provisioning Center with all circuit and mux installation, modification and disconnect projects throughout the world. Ensured adherence to maintenance center processes for flash situations. Provided technical phone support to resolve IPL/GDL trouble tickets and assist with STM-1 Level installation orders. Engaged the assistance of other support group members to solve complex issues and customer escalations. Leveraged equipment engineering expertise and appropriate testing tools to detect, troubleshoot and communicate technical faults impacting network components to customers, telecom providers, vendors and support groups. Monitored and analyzed the performance, software loops and alarm histories of specific equipment to isolate problems. Data Technician II (1985-2001) Installed, maintained and provided technical support to ensure the 24/7 delivery of Verizon's Data Services, including all analog, digital, transmission, messaging and related services. Setup all equipment, cabling and cross connects to establish and support all of the revenue and administrative services of Verizon's central and customer offices. Tested all systems prior to implementation within the production environment to ensure compliance with all manufacturer and/or engineering specifications for proper functioning.
