DEC 1998 - Present Division Six Internet Development

Contract Webmaster. I created Division Six (D6) to develop small,
local business Web sites and to train and build a consulting
group to handle large, long-term projects. Development platforms
include Apache server on Red Hat Linux, PHP, ColdFusion, Perl,
MySQL database. Also, Microsoft IIS, ASP, MS SQL Server. I have also
forayed into video production, DVD mastering, web streaming of
video, 3D Graphics and animation using Maya and Flash, audio
design and video special effects, with many publicly aired
productions.

Duties: Create web site to promote fundraising events, accept

Oct. 1999 - July 2004
Duties: Chief Information Officer - IT Manager. Director of
Development of key Web sites. Web and database design and
implementation on Windows NT Server running IIS and MS SQL Server
for data interaction. Also, Red Hat Linux Servers running Apache,
ColdFusion and MySQL for data interaction. Server setup,
administration and account management for Windows NT and Linux.
Manage and train programmers and system development staff. Our
team developed a system that has revolutionized the industry of
parking management.

Feb. 1998 - Oct. 1999
Duties: Development of Web sites for Lucent Technologies,
Hewlett Packard and others. Integration of HTML, graphics, Perl
and MySQL databases on BSDI and Red Hat Linux, as well as MS SQL
Server 7, ColdFusion and Active Server Pages (ASP) on Windows NT.
Development of advanced administrative back-end to allow corporate
personnel to manage content of some areas of the site in a secure
manner. Coordinating with corporate contacts to develop site
design, data management and to guide development progress.


SEPTEMBER 1996 - JAN 1998 ProTrade Securities
(no longer operating as a business)

I produced an automated, database-integrated securities trading
system that was well ahead of ETrade's technology at the time and
which was purchased by another company.
Duties: Director of Information Services responsible for training,
projectscheduling and system design. Design and programming of
Internet-based securities trading system that ProTrade customers
use to receive quotes, perform stock and options transactions and
observe account changes. Programming involves HTML, Delphi CGI
programs connecting to MS Access and MS SQL Server. Network
administration in Windows NT and Win95 environment.


APRIL 1996 - SEPTEMBER 1996 Pacific Ridge Data Resources
(no longer operating as a business)

Duties: Project Manager and chief Programmer of Internet
Commercial Real Estate web site using HTML forms, Delphi CGI
programs connecting to MS Access Database and SQL Server 6.5.
Installation of TCP/IP network, Microsoft Exchange & Internet
Information Server on NT Server. Installation and administration
of Windows NT Server and Client systems.


JANUARY 1994 - APRIL 1996 Santa Barbara Bank & Trust

Duties: Setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of IBM compatible
computers, Novell network, Lanspool, and other systems.
Installation and support of DOS and Windows based applications,
utilities, and programming tools. Network administration duties
such as creation of user accounts, print sharing, software
installation, hardware installation, wiring and troubleshooting.
Training and support of internal customers in the use of
applications. Customization of application programs, and design
and programming of new applications and utilities using C, C++,
BASIC, and Assembler. Project plan, purchase and installation
of Chatterbox remote communications server. Testing and
purchasing specifications for communications and remote control
hardware and software.

I and a partner built a computer business that continues in
operation today. Duties: As a general partner in Digital
Solutions, my duties included retail sales and customer service,
construction and repair of computer systems, networks (Novell
Netware and Windows for Workgroups), programming of custom
applications, databases, and utilities.
