3Dconnect.com Inc. -- Various consulting contracts with a variety of corporate clients

FNF Canada: This project involved the Technical PM and implementation of a CIBC Spring Coupon project. The Project involved C# development in VS2005 and SQL2005 using some existing system components. My role involved requirements gathering, overall design, technical Project Management and leading a group of developers in the design, development, integration and deployment. I also interacted with the client directly.

FNF Canada: This project involved the design and implementation of a Document Synchronization and Print Service to serve offices across the country. Project involved C# development in VS2005 and SQL2005 using SQL Server Broker, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow. Other projects involved analysis and design of reports using Aspose tool. My role involved the design, development, integration and client interaction.

Morguard Investments: This project involved the design and implementation of a Sharepoint MOSS 2007 system to manage Annual Internal Audit process and IT Forms using Window Communications Foundation, Windows Workflow and InfoPath Forms Server, and Active Directory. My role involved the design, development and integration of the solution and client interaction.

Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP): This project involved the design and implementation of a Sharepoint MOSS 2007 system to manage Employee Compliance Forms using Window Communications Foundation, Windows Workflow and InfoPath 2007. Digital Certificates and internal Certificate Authority server were used for employee security/signature feature. My role involved the design, implementation and integration of the solution. I was also heavily involved in client interaction and training.

2006-2007 Team Lead/Solutions Consultant T4G Limited
Product: Various Applications for Bell Canada. These projects were developed using C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Window Services, and Web services. The various projects were: Wireless Number Portability, WiMax product for Consumer market, WiMax product for SMB. Porting of applications to ASP.NET 2.0, Removal of nHibernate from a large application, automated Unit Test development.
Product: Hosted Messaging Collaboration Analysis for Bell Canada. Co-produced a 100plus page document on how to interface and integrate many of Bell Canada's SMB backend systems for ordering, provisioning, billing, sales portals, authentication systems. data warehousing, shipping, provisioning Customer Management, and Sales Reporting.
Product: Disability Reporting for Manulife Financials. This project was developed using SQL 2000, Reporting Services 2000 connecting to a backend Sybase database, involved DTS services, security, dynamic reports and deployment in a large enterprise environment.

T4G Limited: Service Delivery Platform for Bell Canada. These projects were developed using C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Window Services, and Web services. A few months involved designing and developing services that conducted Business to Business Transactions. The work also involved a lot of interaction with Vendors and Business Analysts.
Product: Online Tourism Management System using Sharepoint, CMS, and Commerce Server. These projects were developed using C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, OLAP and Reporting Services, Office Web Components, Web services. A few months involved designing and developing an OLAP Cube report using Office Web Components and SQL Reports using SQL Reporting Services, Sharepoint WebParts.

Bell Canada: Online web development for numerous applications: Salesperson Revenue Calculator which involved complex business rules to handle accounts. Resource Reservation System for managing meeting rooms and other resources; Project Planning/Tracking System and a Collection Tracking System. These projects were developed using C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Access, LDAP and Web services. Several months were spent as a Technical Business Analyst on the Voice over IP (VOIP) project managing the End to End System Acceptance Testing and Overall Load/Performance Testing and inter system problem resolutions. Several months were spent as a Solutions Consultant managing the requirements and software development of the Vancouver Olympic site, Bell Business Portal and MSN Sympatico involving CMS and a number of internal Web Services.

York University: Online conference registration for 4 different conferences.
As sole developer, I was responsible for overall User Interface and system design, security, deployment and customer interaction. The online conference registration system, including online payment, report generation, registration tracking and conference management features
Product: Online student and instructor portal. The student portal allowed online student registration, course and program presentation, waiting lists, viewing of timetables, marks, attendance records, and online payment. The instructor portal allowed for management of marks attendance and other course material. These projects were developed using VB.NET, ASP.NET, Oracle9i, the payment system interfaced with Moneris's eSELECTplus online payment system.

SushiMi: Online Point of Sale Terminal and Customer Management System
As Team lead of 2 other developers, responsibilities involved overall User Interface and design concept, direction, and interfacing with the customer. Completed design and development of the main order entry, as well as the tracking and updating portion of the Point of Sale (POS). The POS system used for a take-out and delivery business was a web-based ASP.NET Framework. It was developed using VB. The system tracked all customer and employee transactions for past and present orders and allowed Administrative updates for security and dynamic menu updates. Design allowed for enhancements to include e-commerce and online customer orders.

EpiStream Consulting: Online Survey Management System
The Survey Management System is a Java Web based system operating under Jboss and Tomcat. It was developed using JSP, Servlets, EJB, Java Beans, XML and XSD technologies. The system consisted of three main parts, Login/Security, Managing Surveys, and Survey Responses. Enhancements included web forms to generate the XML Survey file, storage of results in an XML file, and Web Services.

2000 -- 2001 Software Developer Zhone Technologies Inc.
Development was performed in the Configuration Management Tool (CMT) and Sechtor 300 products. The CMT is a Java-based client/server GUI application running under Windows managing the Sechtor 300. The CMT development environment was J Builder 3.5. The Sechtor 300 is a C based, embedded real-time Voice/Data gateway, supporting digital cross connects, GR-303 and SONET interface. The CPU runs under OS-9, and the supporting cards operate under VxWorks. The development environment was on a Windows platform in Insight 2.1, and Microware Ultra C cross compiler.

2000 -- 2000 Partner, Recruiter and Corporate Business Manager Enigma HR Solutions
Involved in all aspects of operating a small business including Office Manager, Business Development, Corporate Client Manager, Marketing, Candidate Recruiting, and Accounting. The business, which operated as an electronic paperless office, supported 20 corporate clients and over 5,000 candidates. .

Siemens Canada Ltd., CrossKeys Corp., Newbridge Networks Corp. - Network Management Group
User interface and design for Re-routing and Alternate Path (RAPID) ATM Path management to support Siemen's 36190 ATM switch on Newbridge's 46020 Network Management System (NMS). Path Analysis to support Siemen's 36190 ATM node on Newbridge's 46020 NMS. Statistics, Bandwidth Allocation and database design area of the 46020 NMS. In accordance with Newbridge's Development Guidelines, Sun Tools were used in C in a Solaris/Xwindows client/server environment, using an Informix database.

Nortel Networks. - Norstar Group
Re-design and modification of the Norstar Digital Voice switch's existing call processing software to allow for future expansion of features. Development was performed in a C, Hp Openview development environment.

Gandalf Canada Ltd. - Premier LANLine Group
Development involved reuse of software components from existing products and new software features for an ISDN Edge Router. The software was developed in a C, Intel i960 environment. Majority of work was performed in the area of the command console, SNMP agent, and MIB II database.

Canadian Marconi Company - Avionics Management System Group & Datacomm Division
Duties included Proposal and Bid Preparation for a number of new Active Matrix LCD Displays projects, software development plans, scheduling aspects and R&D environments and Software enhancements/modifications to the demo unit. The development environment was a 8051 C environment for the LCD backlight control software; C in a TMS34020 graphics environment; and Ada development in a 486Alsys-Ada environment under DO-178B.

Design and development of Transport Canada's VOR Remote Maintenance and Monitoring System (RMMS).
The project was developed using MIL-STD 2167A. Development was done in C in a SUN, UNIX environment. The target system was an embedded Real-Time, Multi-tasking distributed network system using MToS.

1986 -- 1989 Software Engineer - Interactive Home Shopping Division.
Cableshare Inc.
Requirement analysis and software design of the telephone management system portion of an interactive cable and telephony based Home Shopping System. All development was done in C in a distributed embedded iRMX OS under DOS.
