Developing and evaluating the need for certain systems in such an environment. This required a team effort to be able to setup the above office to retrieve information in a effortless manner with the use of bulkload, an Teradata utility, that allowed the team to load massive amount of data to tables that were set up for relational retrieval. We were then able to create views for summary data. We exported, with the use of the export utility, this summary data down onto a PC, so the data could be loaded to access databases quickly and efficiently. The access databases were design to handle small amount of data that could be retrieved within a moment notice and reported using focus reporting. This utilized Teradata Access and FOCUS relational database, Microsoft Word, SQL, OS/MVS, TSO/ISPF. Consultant 2/2000 - 12/2000 Campbell Soup , Camden, New Jersey * Trouble shooter in a TERADATA/FOCUS Environment. Several FOCUS systems were not operating properly; many programs were in need of minor and major changes. The environment had to be re-created because of the confused data, garbage in/ garbage out. We used the exiting tables. I had to first dump the tables, then use backups to reload several tables for accurate data. To do this MultiLoad was used to load several tables with data. We began the import by naming the tables to be loaded, described the layout or data definitions, created different labels for the insert of data into different tables. Then imported the In file of data. Making the above changes gave the customers of Campbell Soup the ability to review proper reporting.
