Network Operations Center Technician July 2000 - February 2001

* Responsible for monitoring and analyzing overall performance and status of EWSD switches, tracking and resolving trouble tickets via Metasolv TBS system, and provisioning, monitoring and maintaining VoDSL(Voice Over Digital Subscriber Lines) circuits through the Lucent CBX-500 ATM switch, Lucent Stinger DSLAM, Jetstream CPX-1000 and Jetstream IAD-802(Integrated Access Device).
* Accessed EWSD switch traffic management reports, queried trunk status and made circuit feature changes using Seimens Smart Commander software. Tracked information through graphs designed in both Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
* Installed, provisioned, troubleshot and maintained the first VoDSL circuit for company, utilizing the Jetstream IAD-802, Lucent Stinger DSLAM, Lucent CBX-500 ATM switch, and Jetstream CPX-1000. Monitored and provisioned circuits through NavisAccess, NavisCore, and JetVision Element Management systems.
* Handled every aspect of resolving customer-related troubles to insure minimum loss of service, utilizing Metasolv TBS system. Opened trouble tickets, provided customer with status and informed customer of cause and fix action upon closure of the ticket.

Communications-Computer Systems Controller July 1996 - July 2000

* Responsible for installing, programming, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining the Promina 800, Promina 400, and IDNX 20(Integrated Digital Network Exchange) multiplexers, ensuring that equipment is always operational and ready for mission requirements. Accustomed to working under adverse conditions with time restrictions.
* Programmed, troubleshot, activated and maintained numerous secure and non-secure data and voice circuits via Promina 400 multiplexer, FCC-100 Low-speed Time-division multiplexer, PairGain modems and various line and trunk encryption devices while deployed to Cairo West Air Base, Egypt. This provided only communications connectivity for five remotely deployed squadrons.
* Programmed and maintained three IDNX nodes while deployed to Bandirma, Turkey during Kosovo Crisis, providing both secure and non-secure electronic mail, telecommunications, internet and Autodin access to over 1400 customers.
* Performed various preventative maintenance procedures and equipment modifications on organization's multiplexers and cryptographic equipment, to include correcting factory wiring and card strapping discrepancies.
* Fabricated various types of cables to interface telecommunications equipment
