* Developed the EDS Document Wizard, a Microsoft WordBasic program that automated much of the process of developing a user manual.
* Supported Unix and DOS systems at the GM Shreveport Assembly truck plant. One system was the Assembly Line Diagnostic Link (ALDL) system, which did end-of-line testing of every S-10 or Sonoma pickup truck manufactured. Also maintained a Simplex fire protection system.
* Led design and wrote design specifications in several projects. Received a special $500 award from General Motors as recognition for one of those designs.
* Administrated two Sun Microsystems 3/60 workstations running SunOS.
* Maintained SunOS C programs and C Shell scripts used to process automotive service bulletins. Wrote MS-DOS batch files and C programs that prepared automotive service information for release on CD-ROM in a proprietary database format.
* As a consultant to an EDI team, developed a windowing library using Waterloo C for MVS on the mainframe.
