INFORMATION OFFICER / DIRECTOR, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - DITECH.COM (2005-DEC 2007)
Promoted to oversee all systems, supporting applications, and infrastructure related to ditech.com, including consumer facing web sites and primary point-of-sale/loan processing system, with additional responsibility for the GMACM Direct Lending channel. As a member of the ditech Executive Committee, ensure fulfillment of IT and call center needs for 1,600+ users of internal systems, the ditech business, external customers, and IT related costs and budgets. Manage internal staff of 70+ and additional staff with outsourced vendor.
Manage and direct efforts for a portfolio of 40+ applications/services and all areas of IT, including data center, infrastructure, application development, quality assurance, project management, release management, networking, database administration, telecommunications, and security. Served as voting member on the GMAC ResCap Information Privacy and Protection Committee, approving both business and IT privacy/security policies and procedures.

Selected Highlights:
* Reduced staffing and G&A budget by $2.7 million, outsourcing costs by $700,000 and employee turnover from 42% to 0% for 6 months ending in 01/07.
* Spearheaded IT team efforts in the 2006 ditech.com redesign project, completing project on time and 19% under budget as company achieved ~.5% conversion increase and $8 million in new revenues, incorporating consumer lab study findings, dynamic messaging, web analytics, and rate functionality. Led 2007 redesign, including development, testing, and security scanning, in 5 weeks as opposed to 10-12.
* Facilitated annual commissions savings of ~$2 million and improved profitability by leading IT group in modifying 2 commissions systems to allow for changes to agent pay plans. Reached goals in 4 weeks despite group's unfamiliarity with systems and initial 3-4 month projection.

* Reduced allocated data storage costs by $300,000 annually by implementing an archiving strategy for the LOS/POS database to improve performance and decrease required SAN space. Consolidated environments to eliminate 5 unnecessary test/QA regions and 1 production region.

* Led financial conversion for company's global relocation subsidiaries, consolidating 4 systems into a single, new web-based system. Converted over 3 years of fee and expense data for multiple Fortune 500 clients and internal financials of GRS. Produced significant cost savings across several areas.
* Captured net savings of ~$300,000 annually by implementing and supporting enterprise-wide, web-based expense system along with multiple interfaces and business process redesign. System allowed for removal of paper submissions and approval, FTE reduction, more efficient processing, and better audit and control. Completed project on time and 15% under budget.
* Implemented international company-wide corporate credit card program bringing efficiencies to processing, payment, and reconciliation of reimbursable expenses; program produced additional revenue stream through portion of merchant exchange fee, for GMAC Bank as the issuer, as well as cost savings.

* As interim Head of Human Resources and Payroll, created new policies and procedures for payroll of ~4,000 across 25 subsidiaries, reducing payroll errors through automation and document standardization.
* Led integration of automated, web-based expense reimbursement system, reducing processing costs per voucher from $36 to $10 and decreasing number of clerks processing expense vouchers from 7 to 1.
