NASA/ATK Launch Systems Engineering Technician 09 / Materials Engineer 2005-2007 * Responsible for producing planning used for adhesive bonding and rubber vulcanization studies. * Maintained a robust Statistical Process Control Program with complete statistical data packages delivered to NASA Bond Lab Engineer. * Responsible for quantitative and qualitative proof of proper Bond Lab operation verification through results of SPC program. * Had dies fabricated that have resulted in increased production and safety while decreasing man-hours expended cutting rubber and insulation.
NASA/Thiokol 1995-2005 Bond Lab Lead Engineering Technician * Contracted to NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center Materials and Processes Laboratory. Conducting research and development work on elimination of ozone depleting chemicals and materials such as carbon and glass phenolic, alloys, steel, adhesives, and rubber for the Redesigned Solid Rocket Motor Program.
