SUMMARY
More than 12 years of IT experience as an MS Access developer, 10 of which as a Senior MS Access Developer. This includes design, development, implementation and testing of applications using MS Access, all versions, from 2.0 through 2007. VBA, Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, ODBC, SQL, ActiveX, SPSS, MS Word, MS Excel and SQL Servers as back end under Windows NT environment with extensive experience in: stored procedures, triggers, data modeling, systems design and project management, data analyst, database administration, database documenter and tester. This is everything needed to begin and complete database projects to the utmost. Security Issues: I know how to secure databases. When I did the work for the Small Business Administration I placed 4 levels of security in the code to make sure data was seen only by those who should see it, manipulate it etc. When I was with the Washington Navy Yard I secured a dozen databases from "unsafe expressions" to make them function with alternate code. This required extensive rebuilding of some of the databases.

* Automated MS Word from MS Access to produce a variety of letters and subpoenas. This involved enabling users to create new form letters in MS Access that would display in MS Word for editing and printing.
* Interfaced program with LAN so that emails could be sent.
* Created a Subpoena tracking system for Investigations Division and Auditor's Division (one for each that works together).
* Developed another program for Legal Division to keep track of all of correspondence. Then another program for I&E division to make office paperless.
* Intermeshed all programs to create an environment where each division could do part of a coordinated work. These programs had to function as a single program. * Created over 40 reports and a dozen screens as well as an on-line help-file system. This program required extensive use of VBA, SQL, data modeling, business modeling, systems design and systems analysis, creation of forms and tables. Managed project.
* Created tables, forms and dozens of interactive reports that used user-input to define report's content. User could survey database to tell him extensive demographic information. Dozens of reports gave statistics on everything minister would have to know. It also recorded family information concerning marital status and names and ages of kids as well as who was in Sunday school. It kept track of telephone calls, baptisms, prayer lists and special needs. It kept track of who was single, who was divorced, who was a deacon and who was an elder. All lists were instantly available. This program is extremely user friendly and used colors and graphics to polish off its appearance. It features a complete custom help system to explain use of every form and button.

In addition it contained an end of year physical inventory process that reconciled end of year inventory with quantity on hand.

Completed a very short but very important financial database for Wells Fargo where I had to use MS Access to build a database for a very complex business application. I automated Access with Excel using VBA code to extract information from dozens of Excel files and import them into MS Access in a very special way.

Developed another program for Legal Division to keep track of all of correspondence. Then another program for I&E division to make office paperless. Intermeshed all programs to create an environment where each division could do part of a coordinated work. These programs had to function as a single program. Hundreds of agents throughout U.S.A. used their laptop computers to interface with it, obtaining and entering information concerning suspects, evidence, timesheets and a plethora of other information. Created over 40 reports and a dozen screens as well as an on-line help-file system. This program required extensive use of VBA, SQL, data modeling, business modeling, systems design and systems analysis, creation of forms and tables. Managed project. Created tables, forms and dozens of interactive reports that used user-input to define report's content. User could survey database to tell him extensive demographic information. Dozens of reports gave statistics on everything minister would have to know. It also recorded family information concerning marital status and names and ages of kids as well as who was in Sunday school. It kept track of telephone calls, baptisms, prayer lists and special needs. It kept track of who was single, who was divorced, who was a deacon and who was an elder. All lists were instantly available. This program is extremely user friendly and used colors and graphics to polish off its appearance. It features a complete custom help system to explain use of every form and button. Developed this system in VB with Access as its back end. Developed and implemented an inventory tracking system that kept track of supplies, usage and on-hand quantity in Access 95. This system consisted of eight screens and five reports. It featured a structured inventory usage process that kept an audit trail history of transactions for each inventory item. In addition it contained an end of year physical inventory process that reconciled end of year inventory with quantity on hand.
Developed Names Tracking system, primarily as a convenient method to share names among two or more individuals. This system featured a graphics oriented menu, easy to use buttons that made finding a name easy and provided automatic extract capability to export to MS Word.
