WORK EXPERIENCE:
1981 - 1985 UNITED STATES NAVY REGULAR OFFICER & United States Navy Reserve. Resigned from active duty and received honorable discharge October 1985. Involved in Pilot Traning. Flew 4 different Navy Aircraft. TurboProps.
1985 - 1987 WESTERN ATLAS GEOPHYSICAL, SETTLEMENT PLANNING, INC. & INTEGRATED RETIREMENT RESOURCES. After US NAVY tour, I worked for WESTERN ATLAS GEOPHYSICAL for a short time processing seismic land reflection data in Houston, then I left Houston. I came home to Minnesota where I worked as a software programmer developing two specialized data bases for some other small private companies in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
1987-1997 BISON INSTRUMENTS INC. Since January of 1987 I began to work here. I studied at the University of Minnesota with the professor who started this world re-known instrumentation company in 1964. The company was incorporated in 1967. My duties here included helping to establish a Marketing Computer Data Base, processing and interpreting the data that was collected by Bison's instruments, on the latest state of the art micro-computers(within the last two years this has included work under the very advanced Windows NT operating system), and a wide variety of other duties. In the last four years here my primary objective was centered around selling Bison's Instrumentation around the world. When I left the company, I had set two annual sales records there, in 1994 and in 1995.
Sept 1 1997 June 15 1998 ADVANCED GEOSCIENES INC. Worked in Austin Texas with Resistivity Instrument sales from September 1st of 1997 to June 15th, 1998. Significantly improved AGI's sales and also helped them facilitate their geophysical equipment rentals. Gained valuable experience with the new technique of subsurface resistivity imaging, which is a growing geophysical and geotechnical application. July 14 1998 Nov 15 1999 GISCO. Worked now back home with sales of a wide variety of Geophysical Instrumentation. This includes sales of equipment from the entire Geophysical Line. Seismic, EM, Radar, Magnetometry, GPS systems, & much more. January 2000 BWSGEOFYISK. Started my own Geophysical Instrument Sales and Consulting Company.
