Self Employed: Project Management, Software Consulting and Development Services Since early 1999 I have been self employed and have worked with many organizations and have used numerous technologies and development tools to provide solutions in a variety of industries. As an independent consultant, I have worn many hats in the projects I have been involved in while working in every phase of the system development life cycle. Orthovita, Inc. Consultant / Project Manager / Developer / DBA Designed and developed custom quota management application for sales department. Managed SRS report development project. Managed Crystal report conversion to SRS. Also played a lead role in performing an upgrade to SQL Server 2005 and Great Plains v 9.0 Development tools included SQL 2005 TSQL, Visual Studio 2005, SRS 2005 GP9 Smart List Builder and Crystal Reports 11.
JWeb Technologies Instructor / Trainer Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server 2005, VB.Net. Class sizes range from 15 to 20 students with durations from 3 to 5 days.
Paperless Solutions LLC Project Manager - Developed several custom applications using Visual Studio 2005, VBA, MS Access, SQL Server 2000, Visual Basic 6.0 and Peachtree Accounting for Windows Component Object Model by Multiware Inc.
Alpha Systems Inc. Lead Developer - Developed several tif imaging applications using Visual Basic, MS SQL Server 2000 and several Windows API calls and third party tools.
Rack Release Systems Project Manager - Created a custom application integrating Paypal csv data with Peachtree Premium Accounting for Windows using Peachtree Accounting for Windows Component Object Model by Multiware Inc. and Visual Basic.
IMX Medical Management Services Inc. IT Consultant - Responsibilities included managing the design, development, implementation and support of all information systems that support operations from day to day. Responsibilities also include management of contracted software developers and hardware support vendors. Primary development tools include MS Visual Basic 6.0 / SQL Server 2000, Peachtree & Paw Com, Crystal Reports, MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel.
Valley Hospitality Project Manager - Designed and developed a payroll and labor management application to automate payroll data collection and to track employee activities throughout Valley Hospitality's properties. The application is a Visual Basic interface that connects to a SQL Server database and utilizes SQL reporting services.
Recognition Systems Inc Project Manager - Created an application that runs as a service to poll biometric hand readers to collect attendance information. The application connects with the biometric hand reader via RS-232, TCP/IP, or modem depending on the model of hand reader. The application also manages biometric hand reader templates or enrolled users and backs up the templates for disaster recovery.
1997 to 1999 Mead Coated Board - Phenix City, AL Sr. Systems Analyst: Primary responsibilities included project lead in development team in developing and maintaining Decision Support, and Management Information Systems in the raw material supply and production environments of the Mahrt paper mill in Cottonton, Alabama. Primary development tools include MS Visual Studio / MS Office vba / Oracle 8i.
1996 to 1997 Bytewise Development Corporation - Columbus, GA Product Manger: Responsible for leading Production Team and insuring the quality of Bytewise products. More specific responsibilities include authoring software and technical manuals, Software Analyst, measurement system installations, and end user training.
