In my current assignment, I report to the Vice President, Strategic Planning & Analysis. My role includes project managing application development, business process management, providing project release direction, resume review, conducting interviews and support including research, analysis, review, development, implementation and monitoring of new or revised systems within WFCBB Reporting & Analysis. CBB Business Intelligence Initiative
The goal of the Business Intelligence project is to aggregate data from disparate silos of information and integrates various reporting and analysis platforms currently existing within the enterprise. The project aims to streamline reports & analysis production, increase productivity, agility, enhanced customer interactivity and improved ad-hoc analysis capability of analysts & end users. The project management process has included but not limited to building a business case, cost & benefit analysis, ROI analysis, GAP analysis, requirements management, security and risk analysis, study and analysis of the leading BI vendors including Business Objects, SAS, Cognos, Microsoft, Microstrategy & Actuate, vendor selection, team selection, presentations to the sponsors and SDLC management.

Project: Data Warehousing, Data Migration/ Healthcare systems
Household Relationship Management (HRM) is an AllState team which maintains the database of all customers and contactees of AllState. The database exists on a DB2 database. The team is going through a migration from a Mainframe application to becoming a Java WebService application (SOA). This database is used by internal customers, external customers and agents of AllState. The move to becoming a JAVA application brought the thought of using an Oracle Database by Migration of the database via an ESB (TIBCO). The project consisted of performing Proof of Concepts (POC's) to prove the working of already developed Webservices against an Oracle Database and also to ensure that the new Oracle scales to the AllState requirements. The Project was inherently challenging because of the lack of existing artifacts, thus necessitating the creation of supporting documentation based on existing functionality and architecture. The Agile/Scrum methodology along with RUP documentation was used.
