Resulted in a mid seven figure in sales run rate. * Introduced new algorithm for sales directors, which produced a finite -hands on- analysis. * Led a more rigorous financial and operational analysis of potential future partners for Presstek.
NANO SURFACES, INC: Boston, MA Consultant 2009-2010 * Retained by a private equity group that desired to leverage their initial investment with a series B venture capital placement by demonstrating the business opportunities for their newly emerging disruptive technologies in the coatings markets. * Determined that highly attractive opportunities existed in the naval and medical device markets and created a credible business plan with supporting documentation for a $100MM revenue opportunity for venture capital discussions which led to follow on investment. GLOBAL MEDIA EXCHANGE: New York, NY Consultant 2009 * Engaged to explore alternative revenue streams to replace the original objective of this new firm that created a software based virtual exchange for trading excess television and cable Ad spots, the key driver was to create a new revenue stream for advertising agencies. * Identified new opportunity using GMX`s software platform for continually reprogrammable electronic advertising displays in key high traffic venues such as airports and retail outlets. This opportunity was not pursued due to the current difficulty in raising early stage venture capital funds during the financial crisis.
