SOA Designer Level 2-3
4-6 Month Contract Position
VOLT Technical Resources is looking for a Service Oriented, level two or three Architectural Designer to work on lower level design like atomic services, including custom, legacy wrappers and data services. Qualified candidates will have experience working with J2EE architecture and design, and ORM tools, preferably Hibernate or Spring. The Designer will also have experience with MQ Adapters, Web Service Management, and database design with SQL Server.
Required Skills for this SOA Designer position includes the following:
- eXtensible Markup Language (XML) design
- XML Schema design (XSD)
- Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) design
- Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Visio (for UML modeling)
- Source code control tools, preferably Team Foundation Server and/or Subversion
- Eclipse or vendor product based on Eclipse, preferably Rational Application Developer
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
