SCCM Administrator/System Engineer
Jacksonville, FL
3 Months Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Assist with recommending, scheduling, and implementing server / application upgrades or repairs.
• Deploy new COTS and LOB applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• Apply software updates (patch) servers and workstation software both COTS and LOB applications
• Build server operating systems images appropriate to meet the requirements of various projects
• Deploy server operating systems as required
• Responsible for benchmarking and tuning server hardware and software for optimal system performance.
• Responsible for escalated server, application, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Assist in establishing technology based policies and procedures for entire organization.
• Perform system upgrades on servers and operating systems.
• Assist with the research and evaluation of new third-party applications, hardware and services.
• Perform on going server and security audits.

Position Requirements:

• 7+ years experience in a Microsoft network environment
• Prefer certifications in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
• Currently Administering System Center Configuration Manager
• Experienced in managing 500+ servers
• Knowledgeable in patching process with SCCM, Software Updates
• Knowledgeable in Software Deployment using SCCM
• Experienced using packaging tools like Install Shield, Admin Studio, ORCA
• Knowledgeable in Desired Configuration Management (DCM)
• Knowledgeable in Image Engineering and deployment using Microsoft tools (i.e. Microsoft Deployment Tookit, Windows Automated Installation Kit, Task Sequences of SCCM)
• Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation
• Willing to work nights and weekends as required
• Working knowledge of network protocols and standards
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
• Working knowledge of hardware and hardware concepts
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws
• Microsoft network troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical staff and end-users
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize and delegate appropriate workload
