Based in Austin Texas, as our Technical Operations Engineer, this is a unique opportunity to join a small company that is controlling a large data center, making constant significant investments in newer and better technology, and positioning itself for continued significant growth.
S3 Matching Technologies was founded in 2001 and invented sophisticated algorithmic matching/reconciliation software for industries with very large volumes of complex data. S3 has implemented its TeraMatch® services in the financial services, health care, telecommunications and government industries.
Responsibilities:
- Create and enhance current processes by creating or modifying PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and views
- Perform periodic batch data loads, supporting internal data warehouses and related applications.
- Extract and import data in and out of the Oracle Data Warehouses.
- Ongoing enhancements/customer requests/customizations as necessary
Required Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience with the design and development of PL/SQL (Oracle 10g or higher preferred) packages, triggers, functions and procedures
- Experience Linux scripting
- Prior experience with production deployments is a plus but not required
