Research Analyst

National Heritage Academies (NHA) is seeking a data driven professional to assume a lead role on our Measurement, Research & Accountability (MRA) Team. This position will give the right candidate an opportunity to have access to high quality data while working with some of the top growth modeling researchers in the country. This highly independent position will also include the opportunity to develop and design your own research surveys to be used in conjunction with existing data sets. Qualified applicants will have strong oral and written communications skills, coupled with high attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

If you have the ability to write SQL code, organize and electronically store code scripts and have knowledge of OLAP tools, we would like to talk further with you.

Responsibilities include:
• Performing data manipulation, merging, formatting, and verification from various internal and external organizational databases.
• Provide technical support and input to organizational research projects.
• Liaise, as necessary, with the information technology and data warehouse work groups.
• Provide training and development opportunities for MRA staff in core technical competencies.
• Gather and define analysis and reporting requirements for MRA.
• Communicate project requirements.
• Collaborate with the NHA Data Warehouse team to retrieve data from data bases, cubes and marts.
• Participate in the organization of MRA team document and code electronic storage.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in Math, Statistics, Accounting, Research, Engineering or a related field is required. Masters degree is preferred.
