Join the energetic, highly motivated Connected Computers team as a SW Architect in Espoo (Finland), Tampere (Finland), Taipei (Taiwan) or Kirkland (US). You will be a key member of the Connected Computers R&D team and have the ownership of the overall device SW architecture for our products. You have proven ability to understand and manage large and complex SW systems including their configurability, modularity and interfaces. The scope of your work comprises all the SW in a PC as a whole, and you will drive its optimal development and adaptation to selected Nokia devices and services. You will also ensure optimal SW and system performance and reliability in our products together with our HW architects and suppliers. To succeed in our international, multi-company environment, you have excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.

To become a part of our dynamic team, you have a Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the role of SW architect or similar. We also expect you to have several years of experience in Windows and/or Linux SW design and development and a very good understanding of their SW architecture consists of. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-changing and complex environment where pressure, tight deadlines and demanding quality targets are standard operating procedure.
