Job description (Montreal)

Senior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for the functionality, architecture, and design of all software products. This person will work with many business partners including the architect team, product managers, and others. With the objective to design and develop a framework, provide guidance, implement the framework, ensure uniformity across platforms, and help implement standards

Working closely with the business partners the Ruby on Rails Developer will ensure that products delivered will be of the highest quality for functionality and usability by the end users.

Responsibilities
-Provides direction and guidance on software development standards to be adopted across several development teams
- Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle
-Evaluates and makes recommendation on development related technologies

Requirements
- 2 to 5 years software/application development experience
-Working experience with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, PHP and Linux\
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable working directly with clients
- Ability to accurately estimate development efforts
- Ability to work effectively on multiple efforts simultaneously
- Good team player
-Bilingualism Eng/Fr (asset)
