We are seeking a Sr. Credit Manager located in Fort Lauderdale, FL and requires a proven leader and manager.

Job Description :

The incumbent in this position will proactively establish credit lines for new customers and reevaluate credit lines for existing customers within the business aviation segment. She/he will work in a team environment with sales, operations and marketing to maximize within corporate guidelines the profitability of business aviation relationships.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the establishment and maintenance of the policies and procedures dictated by Executive management as it relates to credit evaluation, collection, and exposure control

Prepare credit rating reports on customers, investigate their financial standing and approve/reject credit applications

Establish and control credit lines and payments terms

Negotiate credit terms with clients including security if required (letters of credit, bank guarantees, surety bonds, etc.)

Inform senior management of credit and collections issues as they arise

Liaise with marketing and guide sales staff with information to help promote our services within risk tolerance boundaries

Monitor customer risk-adjusted profitability and ensure overall quality of the portfolio

Job Requirements :
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the petroleum wholesale credit industry or credit card industry
• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, graduate degree preferred

Experience with Aviation, Marine or Fuel.
