Design/analysis, installation, monitor, maintenance, troubleshoot, & tune DB2 UDB databases.
Identify scope of assigned project; generate solutions to tech issues, Report analysis & results + provide deliverables in timely/efficient manner.
May research & provide recommendations in support of procurement & develop DB software & related tools.
Maintain & monitor availability, security, & integrity of DBs, including referential integrity checking; DB backups, recovery & forward recovery.
Strong written/oral communication skills. Work w/ DB2, Sybase, Oracle, SQL, & UNIX platforms.
Bach degree or equiv in Comp Science,
5 yrs relevant exp. + successful completion of an analytical aptitude exam and/or equivalent job related contracting exp.
