We are seeking a technically savvy Product Manager for a new line of products for cable and internet service providers. Our Product Managers are responsible for identifying and creating the key product requirements for Synacor's product that will deliver capability across multiple consumer branded websites
What you'll be doing everyday:
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new products and features.
• Understand business needs, prioritize features, and create product requirement documents.
• Work closely with the engineering leads to prepare functional specifications and development schedules. Identify and resolve ongoing dependencies to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Provide key input into overall product strategy and roadmap.
• Prepare product marketing collateral. Support sales team and account managers in product-related discussions with prospects and customers.
What you'll need to bring to the table:
• Strong technical background in Computer Science is required. MBA is a plus.
• 3-5 years' experience in product management in software/internet industry.
• Sound business judgment. Ability to prioritize effectively based on business need.
• Strong communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, sales, client services, and marketing.
