Our client seeks an experienced DSP WCDMA and LTE Layer-1 Software Engineer. This position will work as a SW architect and developer on WCDMA and LTE with a focus on designing and implementing Layer 1 solutions for wireless base stations. This will require system analysis, architecting and implementing software on DSPs and accelerators.

Strong written and verbal communications skills are required for interfacing with other design groups, customers and marketing. A successful candidate must be able to work effectively with design centers around the world.

Requirements and technical knowledge:

Good knowledge relating to at least one of the following wireless software technologies: 3G or 4G LTE.
In depth knowledge of layer-1 WCDMA and/or LTE signal processing
Experience in development of time critical physical layer signal processing software algorithms on high performance, multi-core DSP/ /CPUs).
Algorithmic knowledge of complex signals, synchronization, channel coding.
Knowledge of base-station L1/L2 protocols a big plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent DSP programming skills
Excellent programming skills in C/C++

Minimum Requirements:
MS in Electrical engineering, computer science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
