Progressive healthcare client is seeking a Sr. Java Developer/Architect to join their small team, deploying their applications to market. This individual will be the 6th member of a team that has been building Java-based applications while running Oracle 10g RAC, JBOSS Application Server and Apache Tomcat for web services. Client currently has a Developer/Architect that is very good with back-end development, so the ideal person will compliment the current team dynamic by bringing architecture and development knowledge of the presentation layer and middle-tier. The ideal candidate will not be tied to server, client-side or web services, but will have broad knowledge of all aspects of the application. Candidate must be comfortable communicating directly with customers, troubleshooting issues, and problem solving. Client is looking for someone that has experience with the design and development of High Availability, Enterprise-level applications that have the capacity to do millions of transactions per year.

Must Haves:
* 5+ Years of Enterprise-Level Java Development
* SOA Architecture and Design
* High-Availability Systems Design, Implementation, and Support
* Current Experience with Web Services Implementations and Design
* Experience with Oracle Clustered Services
* Experience with debugging and optimization of browser-based applications
