This is a 100% commission-based Sales/Business Development position for a Managed Security Services company. Position entails establishing new business relationships and opportunities, as well as fostering current client relationships. The position also includes both inside and outside sales tasks. This includes identifying and qualifying leads, creating opportunities, and bringing in opportunities for business. This will require a basic understanding of the company, our core services, and a fundamental understanding of information technology and network security in general. You will be expected to spend a significant amount of time on the phone making first contact with potential leads, and also setting up meetings, as these will be metrics that you are evaluated on. You will also be expected to familiarize yourself with every aspect of the sales cycle, generating price quotes, writing proposals and service requests, and fostering client relationships. In time, you will be expected to go on meetings and represent the Company to potential clients. In addition, you may be asked to create or assist in creating sales campaigns, marketing plans, and event coordination.
