The People Source has an immediate need for one Mid-to-Sr. level Database Developer/DBA. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to translate business requirements into database designs that conform to high performing availability models. Ideal experience will include successful previous experience in Internet companies and in high-volume, highly-available database-driven applications. The successful candidate must be able to work in a rapid application development environment and be willing to wear many hats in a small team. Candidate will be responsible for the health and care of our clients SQL Server 2005 servers and will be called upon to work with the development team to enhance and expand their data model. This position is also responsible for monitoring and working with our client's IT team to maintain the health of all SQL Server DBMS systems.

Required Experience
• 5+ years of SQL Server/T-SQL development experience
• 3+ years of SQL Server administration experience
• 1+ years SSIS experience
• 5+ years Stored Procedure development and tuning experience
• 3+ years Indexing evaluation, de-fragmentation and tuning experience
• 5+ years Data modeling and normalization experience
• 3+ years Replication implementation and administration experience
• Query performance evaluation and adjustments experience
• Data Mart Modeling and Design or data architecture (at least 2 projects)
• Data Migration and Replication experience
• ETL Design and Development (at least 2 projects, preferably with SSIS but open to Informatica experience)
• Requirements Gathering experience
• Reports Design (including layout design with charting experience) and Development
• Technical Design experience

Nice to have:
• Crystal Reports Designer and Developer
• SQL Server reporting services
• MySQL or PostgreSQL administration and development experience
• Service Broker
• CLR (C#) development

Education
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree or preferably Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
