Lead .Net Architect

Location: Irving
Salary: 120-130K

We are looking for a self-starting and high-energy .NET Architect who loves technology. This is a role that you can flourish in if your passion is solving business problems with technology and working hand in hand with the Director you'll be reporting to. If you are as business savvy and personable as you are technologically intelligent, we want to learn more about you. Each member of the team you'll be joining is highly competent and plays an integral role in both the development environment, but the chemistry of the group. In this company, the environment is casual, and both personal and professional achievements are not only encouraged but invested upon. As this is a very tight knit team, you will be working along side the Senior .NET Engineers, the Lead Developer(s), and the Director. This is not a role for a rogue architect or a lone wolf. A team-first attitude is the only way to thrive in this environment.

•This is an opportunity for a true Technical .NET Architect to work along side the Director and shape the direction of the technology.
•This is NOT a role for someone who is looking for a Lead or Management role. We repeat - this is NOT a role for a Lead or Manager, or someone that wants to be one right now.
•We want a Technical Architect, who loves technology, development, design, etc., and wants to take their career to the next level in that regard.

Qualifications:
•What we do want is a creative, disciplined, and talented Technical Architect with at least 3 years of hands-on architecture.
•We need someone to have deep and broad technical skills in .NET and related MS technologies / products, as well as solid architecture, design, and development skills.
•Technically, we are looking for expert level expertise with C#, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services and preferably Windows Forms as well.
•Prior experience with large-scale applications is required, global applications a plus.
•Experience with Silverlight, Entity Framework, and WCF a plus
•Experience with backend SQL through 2005 is required, SQL 2008 a plus.
•6-7 years .Net development experience, proficiency with .NET 3.0 / 3.5 is very well regarded, but 2.0 will suffice.
•An overall understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design, design and development principles, and the Software Development Life Cycle is necessary.
•Bachelor's of Science is required, ideally in Computer Science. An Engineering discipline or Math is acceptable as well.
