DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Managing the development, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancements of healthcare focused application systems and their integration into other related and unrelated systems; (2) Direct staff management of application staff to include programmers, analysts, and other development professionals; (3) All planning and strategy with regards to future systems delivery and evolution; (4) Relationship building with all internal and external groups to include vendors, third party organizations and business partners; (5) Ensuring that service level agreements are adhered to and met by all parties; (6) Planning and organizing all enhancements and new releases; (7) Coordinating release testing and acceptance sign off with UAT resources in the field prior to any major releases; (8) Developing, building, and managing relationships to all levels of management; (9) Disaster recovery and business continuity planning; (10) Playing a critical role in the integration of like and unlike technology as a result of corporate acquisition activity; (11) Ensuring proactively that all necessary security standards, processes, procedures, and technology is in place and effectively managed.

REQUIRED:

A BACHELORS DEGREE IS A MUST. CANDIDATES WITHOUT A verifiable BACHELORS DEGREE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

You are currently the manager of development and programming (Not VP nor CIO level) in a medium to large HEALTHCARE APPLICATIONS environment.

5 years STRONG/CURRENT project management of application development/programming (NOT infrastructure or operations or networking) in a large, complex, technologically advanced organization.

Candidates without CURRENT AND STRONG HEALTHCARE APPLICATIONS EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Pluses: PMI certification.
