Job Description :-

The duties of this position include analyzing requirements, writing and executing test cases, generating defect tickets for any issues seen while testing the software and follow up.
This person's main area of work will be in support.
This person will be expected to work in a fast paced project environment dealing with services.
Must be a team player.
This person will be a prime support for testing the People DB, therefore must have excellent database testing skills.
This person must be a team player who can work in a fast paced technically.


Skillset Requirements :-

Applied experience with use of Quality Center / Test Director a must.
Knowledge of Unix (Solaris) administration a plus
Ability to administer Mercury TestDirector and WinRunner components a plus
Experience with hotel/leisure/travel industries or Sales or Finance a plus.
Applied experience in facilitating business requirements documentation, creating test scripts, executing test scripts, logging defects, and performing regression analysis a must
Must be results oriented, self motivated, and have the ability to take ownership for QA responsibilities.
Time management skills a must
Current Java development skills a plus
Applicant must be able to test Oracle, XML and SQL Server databases
Loyalty program focus is a must have.
Knowledge working with Plumtree/BEA, or Alfresco Portals a plus
Must be able to drive projects to completion, meeting time and cost goals.
Must be familiar with EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
Must be able to effectively test in data base environments, data migrations, data consolidations.
Familiarity with ADA requirements a plus.
Must be able to work well in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Multiple language testing experiences a plus.
Testing, including database migration, UI, services, across multiple platforms, report generation, project tracking, acting as a leader for the work assigned.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills in addition to the technical expertise

What is Function Test?
