What we are looking for:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial CTO, with strong development skills, to lead our Beta development.

• 
  Passionate about web technologies, usability and agile development


• 
  Motivated self starter / entrepreneurial spirit / excellent communicator


• 
  Business-sense / solutions-focused / loves learning


• 
  Flexible and able to work in a start-up environment
  
  

Your experience & skills:

• 
  A degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field (students are welcome to apply)


• 
  3+ years of web application development experience with LAMP, Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or equivalent


• 
  Knowledge of webservices (SOAP, REST) a must


• 
  Solid SQL knowledge and experience building scalable database driven web sites, Memcached or Squid experience a bonus


• 
  Experience with open source software and services


• 
  Solid knowledge and experience working with social networking API's e.g. Facebook, Flickr, Twitter.


• 
  Solid skills of JavaScript, CSS/HTML, XML and AJAX a definite asset


• 
  Experience using Amazon's Web Services a bonus


• 
  Familiarity with SEO, landing page optimization, web analytics a bonus


• 
  Experience with Flash Media Server


• 
  Experience with Adobe Flex/ActionScript v3
