Currently an Applications/Database Programmer position is available for a World-leading manufacturer in Aiken, SC. This position is responsible for software control and data acquisition for the production area working cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Process Engineers to accomplish goals of machine automation for increased production and improved quality.


Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related IT discipline
• 5 years minimum experience programming database centric applications in a manufacturing environment
• .Net with an emphasis on VB
• T-SQL
• ADO.Net
• ASP.Net and legacy ASP in a report based intranet environment

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship


Desired experience:
• Familiarity interfacing with PLCs via RSLinx
• Working with iFix (GE Fanuc)
• Ability to develop software and support or take the lead on iFix projects and upgrades
