Outstanding full time, direct hire opportunity for a senior level Business Systems Analyst within an enterprise level organization! Qualified individual will be based in Dallas and work in a team environment. This person will serve as the primary liaison between the business side and the IT side to accurately capture information in order to provide technical solutions to meet end-user needs. Proven track record of delivering solutions combined with leadership in resolving issues is essential. Must possess very strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills.

DUTIES:
-Analyze business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to solve business and technical issues.
-Develop business requirements and implement automated solutions; transform business requirements into the appropriate code and data model solutions; seek out operational improvements and train users for new systems.
-Become an expert in Asset Management businesses (Commercial Mortgage, ABS, Securities, etc).
-Develop and document operational procedures as it relates to the business process and use of the applications.
-Develop and/or enhance Business Applications or tools by selecting, tailoring and implementing third-party packages, tools or components.
-Ensure the Applications are properly deployed and utilized.
-Develop and implement training procedures and integration or conversion strategies for new systems.
-Use creative skills to identify and recommend automation and application improvement solutions for business.
-Analyze and develop requirements and specifications that address business functions and workflow.
-Develop Test Cases and test Applications thoroughly, when implementing system modifications, upgrades, disaster recovery, etc., utilizing users where appropriate.
-Learn utility applications such as Document Management and workflow, making recommendations for integration where applicable.
-Support internal and external customers as a business consultant and problem solver.
-Provide hands-on technical solutions either through reports or program development.

REQUIRED:
-BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
-Corporate Finance or Commercial Mortgage Securities industry experience.
-3 to 7 years experience having worked with newer technologies.
-Experience in the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of automated business solutions.
-Experience with SQL Server 2005 or higher.
-Experience with database reporting tools (e.g. Access, Crystal, MSRS, etc).
-Experience with C# / ASP.NET development technologies having the ability to perform tasks such as creating a basic database, doing fixes on the front-end, etc. Being able to recognize a coding issue and then fix it.
-Customer Service and Quality focused with proven process improvement skills.

DESIRED:
-Experience with business process re-engineering initiatives; modeling and analyzing (as-is/to-be) processes, mapping primary and exception workflows, and identifying business rules.
-Ability to project manage builds or new system implementations for smaller projects typically lasting no longer than 3 months.
-Experience with automated workflow solutions.
-Experience developing training curriculum and material.
