We have a client who is looking for a Data Developer/Architect to join 3 other developers, for a permanent position in Nashville, TN. Our client is looking for a developer who has strong experience in data architecture, data abstraction, and data modeling. This client is in healthcare so they work with a lot of XML data, using XQuery to manipulate and transmit data. This person should have experience with X-Query, XML, and web services. This position does involve some architecture work so experience with Software/Database architect is a must have. The Data Architect should have some experience with databases with MySQL, Oracle, or DB2. Experience with DDL (Data Definition Language), tables, views, and optimization is a must have as well as this person will be structuring the database. This person should have some kind of open source language experience as well, with Perl being the preferred language and any experience with HL7. Also, if the Database Architect has experience with documentation or technical writing that is a big bonus as they are looking for some help in that area as well.

Must Haves:
--X-Query, XML, Web Services Experience
--Data modeling, data abstracting, and data architecture experience
--Perl development and HL7 experience
--MySQL, Oracle, and DB2 experience

Wish List:
--“Mark Logic” Experience
--Technical Writing or strong Documenting skills.
