Urgent need for a GIS Specialist for one of our clients located at Waltham, MA?

-- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for processing utility data for conversion into an enterprise GIS. This is a 3-4 month position. The individual will integrate data from various vector, raster, and paper data sources to generate a GIS model of electricity supply lines. The majority of the work is expected to be completed using Arc Info 9.3, but other geospatial/mapping tools may be required including GE Small world, MapInfo, and Micro station. The individual will report to Information

Management supervisor and will be expected to work with Engineers and subject matter experts during data conversion.

SKILLS: 1 year experience with Arc Info and GeoDatabase
Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder
1 year experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Access) Utility and GE Small world experience is a plus must have the ability to learn new technologies quickly

EDUCATION : College Degree
